A full 21 day classic safari holiday in Uganda gives you a full detail of the beauty in various destinations of all corners of Uganda. Traversing the different national parks of Mountain Elgon, Kidepo, Semuliki, Rwenzori, Queen Elizabeth, Mgahinga, Lake Mburo, and Murchison falls national park and Bwindi impenetrable forest, home to half of the mountain Gorillas found in the world. The Adventure also gives you a chance of appreciating the Beauty in other cultures such as that of the karamojongs and the Batwa pygmies.

These different parks have diverse attractions ranging from wildlife such as lions, Buffaloes, elephants, Zebras, impalas, leopards, cheetah, and Rothschild giraffe among others, not forgetting the aquatic animals such as the crocodiles. This experience doesn’t end until you have enjoyed the melodies of the birds in the banks of Lake Bunyonyi as well as encountering the chimpanzees and Gorillas.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja

Upon arrival, our expert guide will welcome you to the beautiful land of the pearl of Africa. Thereafter, drive you in a very comfortable way to Jinja about 2hours drive from Kampala where you will check in to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight. Jinja is a home to the source of River Nile the longest river in Africa.

Day2: Explore the Source of the Nile and White Water Rafting

Wake Up to a warm breakfast before heading to the source of the Nile, it is from Here that the Nile starts its three months journey across a number of African countries to the red sea. Have a boat cruise to the point where the Nile starts. And then have lunch before proceeding for the next exercise of rafting. After, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight. It should be noted that white water rafting is optional.

Day 3: Transfer to Mount Elgon in the East

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey that takes you 3-4 hours enjoying the beautiful scenery especially of Rice and Sugar plantations. It’s all amazing until you reach. Mountain Elgon is a home to numerous bird species as well as the magnificent sippi falls located in Kapchorwa district. On arrival, you will check into the lodge where you will relax and have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Hike Sipi Falls

Wake up to an early morning cup of coffee. This activity is very rewarding since it gives the free music from the birds, the fauna and flora, wildcats among others. Day 5: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early morning Breakfast, Check out and embark to a long days 10 hour drive to Kidepo national park, a home to the wildlife. The drive will pass via the Pian Upe Game Reserve, a mixed acacia-commiphora savanna. This reserve has cheetahs, spotted hyenas, leopards, Buffalos among others. Proceed with the Drive to moroto where you will some lunch as the journey continues through, Kotido, and kabong were the park is located. Then you will check in to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Game Drive & Culture

Wake up and have an early morning breakfast and then head to the wilderness to encounter late evening hunters while getting back to their resting places as well as the morning predators go hunt the day’s food. Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

The flickering suns raise will raise you up to an early morning breakfast. Then, head to the parks head offices for a chimpanzee trekking briefing exercise .the guides will tell you the dos and don’ts while in the park. The whole activity may take about 3-4 hours with an hour for you to view human’s closest relatives.

It’s a mazing that you will stand a chance of spotting other primates such as the red tailed monkeys, baboons, bush babies among others, not forget the birds who will be entertaining you with sweet melodies. After, head back for lunch before proceeding to Bigodi wetland to watch birds, baboons, bush babies among others. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Hike Mount Rwenzori

Upon finishing your morning Breakfast, head the Rwenzori headquarters for a briefing on the thing to be done while hiking as while as getting one potter to help you. Day 16: Transfer to Mgahinga and Gorilla Trekking,

Let the sun rise wake you up to an early morning breakfast, then head to the sectors headquarters’ for briefing, here, the UWA park rangers will brief you on the do’s and don’ts of Gorilla trekking before going for the real exercise that will last for about 4-6hours depending on the location of the mammals. Upon finding them, you will interact with them for about one hour. Afterwards, return for lunch at the lodge. Drive to the neighboring Mgahinga national park, less known but very blessed with the treasures for all their visitors. While in Mgahinga, you will encounter the oldest but still very original and entertaining culture. The Batwa pygmies. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 17: Golden Monkey Trekking & Batwa Community Visit

After Breakfast, head to the park’s Headquarters for briefing at 8:30, on the do’s and don’ts while in the jungle. The Mgahinga, Muhabura and sabinyo offer rewarding sites. The hike normally enables you explore the endangered golden monkeys which are unique and only found in the Virunga volcanoes. They dwell in Bamboo forest of mount Mgahinga and demonstrate playful Ctactics to their visitors, jumping from one branch to another. Their skin color gives them a very impressive look. Day 18: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi & Afternoon Boat Cruise

After breakfast, head to Lake Bunyonyi, this lake is Africa’s second deepest lake and birders spot. You will feed your eyes with beautiful landscapes. This is a base that was named by British’s diplomat Winston Churchill as the Switzerland of Africa. You will enjoy a sunset boat cruise.

Day 19: Enjoy the whole day at Lake Bunyonyi

Let the birds melodies wake you up. Head for breakfast while feeding your eyes with the amazing appearance of the surrounding hills. And then enjoy the beautiful flash of the sun’s rays early in the morning. Then after, proceed for a canoe ride on the lake as you visit the 29islands and almost every island rich in history such as the punishment island. Seat and relax as the guides tell you the stories while on the ride. After, have lunch and go hiking in the nearby hills as you watch birds.

After an early morning breakfast, get to a drive to Lake Mburo National Park, a home of zebras. Roughly 4hours and 30mins drive to a very interesting national park. This park is a home to a number of Zebras, impalas, oribis, buffaloes, warthogs, and over 332 bird species. On arrival, enjoy the atmosphere and take as many photos as possible. Day 21: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

Have breakfast in the morning, then head for an early morning game drive for about 3hours. Here, you stand a chance of spotting Zebras, impalas, elephants, Buffaloes among others. Upon completing, head back to you accommodation for lunch and checkout. Transfer to Entebbe having a stopover at the equator for photography and buy some souvenirs from the nearby craft shop.

This marks the end of the trip and arrangement for Airport transfer can be made depending on the time for your flight.
