Where is the gorilla naming ceremony?
Kwita Izina or Gorilla Naming ceremony is held in Kinigi Musanze just at the Volcanoes national park and is done every year. It is a very important ceremony where all the mountain gorillas born in the last one year are given names. Ever since it started in 2005, almost 400 mountain gorillas have been given names. On the other hand, the event will take place across Rwanda like in Conference centres, cultural centres, hotels and other outdoor venues including Volcanoes national park.
