Akagera National Park

Akagera national park is located in the Eastern province of Kibungu district in the North Eastern Rwanda. The park is blessed with attractions such as wildlife game of Rhinos, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Zebras, Leopards, Lions, Impalas, Water bucks and several bird species.

Activities in this park are; Game drives(Both day and night), Behind the scenes, Fishing, Boat safari, and then Cultural tours.

The lodges in and around Akagera national pare include; Ruzizi tented lodge, Akagera game lodge, Magashi luxury camp, Karenge tented camp, Kigambira safari lodge, Akagera safari lodge, Malakai eco lodge and others. You can visit Akagera national park at any time of the year but the ideal time is during the dry season of June to September. January to March, October and December are also good time to visit this amazing park.
